Jessica Simpson Gets a Smackdown

Jessica Simpson’s mother gave little girl Jessica a verbal smackdown after her “embarrassing” rendition of “9 to 5″ in front of Dolly Parton and President Bush at the Kennedy Center Honors last weekend.

Mommy told Jessica that she should get out of the business if she doesn’t want to put in the work. According to reports, Tina Simpson was furious and told her daughter that the performance was “embarrassing” and “unprofessional”.

Jessica - Come on over if you want some comfort.

Jessica Simpson's Used Chewing Gum Auctioned Off

Everyone's trying to make a buck! The blonde actress discarded the candy as she was preparing to shoot a kissing scene with co-star Dane Cook in ‘Employee of the Month’. Jessica, 26, gave the gum to an extra on set who rather than throw it away has decided to make a quick buck.

Jessica Simpson is Struggling as a Single

It's sad to hear, but it appears that the lovely Jessica Simpson is still reeling from her split from ex-husband Nick Lachey. According to sources, she is just not enjoying her life status as a single and is avoiding the party scene and spotlight. In addition, her latest album didn’t make much of a dent on the pop scene.

Life has certainly changed from 2004 for Jessica.
