Brangelina Roughs Up Mumbai

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have incurred the wrath of the locals in Mumbai, India for their bodyguards' boorish behavior. In the midst of a location shoot for her upcoming film A Mighty Heart Thursday.

It was claimed that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's bodyguards "roughed up" parents and students at the Anjuman-e-Islaam Islamic seminary.

According to US Weekly:

The problems began when students were released from their classes at 12:30 to find the gates to the school closed and locked. One parent complained that the children remained locked in for four hours by the film crew.

Parents of children at the Anjuman-e-Islaam school filed a complaint, which states that one bodyguard shouted "get out, you bloody Indians," at the parents. He also reportedly "pushed a small child" and "a lady who was trying to spot her children."

The producers of A Mighty Heart released a statement blaming the paparazzi for the incident. "When the gates were opened to allow the parents in to collect their children, the paparrazi rushed into the school, causing confusion," the producers said.

Jolie's bodyguards have repeatedly been the focus of criticism since their arrival in India last month. In one instance, a bodyguard was caught on tape grasping a photographer firmly by the throat. Last week another photographer complained that the guards threatened to throw him off a moving train.

Publicity stunt or not, Brangelina are not to be messed with...
