On Tuesday, Naomi Campbell was sued by another former maid who says the model viciously assaulted her. This brings the tally of those who've accused Naomi of violence to six people.
The latest lawsuit brought by Gaby Gibson, who worked for the model from November 2005 though January 2006, claims the model called Gibson a “dumb Romanian,”
and states that Campbell is a "violent super-bigot." According to US Weekly:
The lawsuit also states: "Campbell either kicked or punched the back of Gibson's head ... while yelling discriminatory comments" as the maid searched the closet for a pair of the model’s jeans. Meanwhile Campbell returned to court Wednesday as her lawyer and a Manhattan prosecutor tried unsuccessfully to cut a deal on charges that she threw a cell phone at a different maid over a pair of missing jeans. "We're still in the process of working out a possible disposition," said Assistant District Attorney Shanda Strain at a short hearing where the 36-year-old supermodel stood mutely. She is due back in court Jan. 16. The British catwalker could face up to seven years in prison and deportation if convicted on the assault charge. Tune in next time when Naomi’s lawyers concoct a defense blaming the model’s rage blackouts on denim dependency. At which point the court will commend the supermodel for “bravely” admitting that she has a problem, and release her into the custody of a treatment center, where she will enter the program’s cheekily titled “tapered jean” program, which will taper off the supermodel’s denim use, substituting her normal stash with menswear trousers and leggings until her cravings for Seven’s and maid-beating have fully subsided.
Ouch. Sounds like Naomi should hook up with Mike Tyson.
